Kellie Martin is an American film and television actress best known for her roles in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama' series 'Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". In addition, she is famous as the main character for her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Born to a department store buyer as well as a teacher in kindergarten, Martin began her career in acting when she was just seven, when her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children helped her land a guest spot in the series of 1982 "Father Murphy". Following her graduation of Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed important roles on the small screen and the big screen. Martin, besides being an actor, is also a talented photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Martin's sister, who died of Lupus at the age of 19, led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
